“THE ROYAL COURT” - PROJECT BACKBOARD - New York City 2025

As Creative Director I worked with Project Backboard to design the full mural artwork for “The Royal Court: LoverBoy — King of Hearts, 2025,” a large scale basketball court installation created for Lennox Academy in Canarsie, Brooklyn. Working closely with New York artist Mr. Star City, I translated his character into a full court visual identity and built the final design system that Project Backboard installed. The court became a community centerpiece, celebrated by students, faculty, and local residents, and was covered by local news. I also attended the ribbon cutting at Lennox Academy, where I spoke with students about the creative process and saw firsthand how meaningful the court was to the community.
