Bart's Backroom is an AI-powered, web-based game built from real photogrammetry. I used Polycam 3D AI to scan an actual person and a real apartment, then rigged the character and gamified the entire space so players can walk through a true-to-life environment. All lighting and detail match the real apartment scan, creating an experience that goes beyond immersive because the world itself is real.
This project is a proof of concept for what becomes possible when photogrammetry and AI meet interactive design. Real people and real spaces can be turned into playable environments that load directly in the browser. In the future, I see this level of realism shaping everything from real estate walkthroughs to fully scanned open-world games. Bart's Backroom shows how thin the line between reality and digital experience is becoming.
